Administration Fee: $100 per child is required at the time of enrolment. This fee includes a Shine Sun Safe wide brim or legionnaire hat and comprehensive documentation detailing your child’s education and development whilst at Shine.

 

Refundable Bond

Shine takes a $400 Bond which is refundable when 2 weeks’ withdrawal notice is provided to the centre in writing.

 

Early Works Annual Software Fee: $20 or part thereof per child per year.

 

CHILD CARE BENEFIT (CCB): The Australian Government provides Child Care Assistance so families have access to high quality and affordable care. All families (except those that are non residents) are eligible for at least the minimum CCB. Families who qualify under the low and middle income means test can receive higher CCB benefits depending on family income, the number of children in care and the number of day’s attendance per week. The CCB is deducted from the full fee payable at the centre, and parents are required to pay the balance owing. Please enquire at any Family Assistance Office for further details of your eligibility and to register for CCB.

 

CHILD CARE REBATE (CCR): The CCR helps working families with the cost of child care and covers 50% out-of-pocket child care expenses. There is no income test for the CCR. There are certain requirements you must meet to qualify for the CCR.

You must have:

  • used approved child care during the year
  • been eligible for CCB (entitled at a rate of zero or more)
  • passed the CCB work, training, study test (for purposes of the rebate)
  • The Family Assistance Office will calculate your CCB reduction based on the attendance information provided.
